Key Features
- User-friendly, intuitive, menu driven, graphic user interface.
- Generates interface documentation
HTML or Microsoft Word.
- Generate C++ Class Application driver.
- Generates Top level design + interface module / entity for each FPGA/PLD and device constraints (as pinouts).
- Hardware initialization.
- Loads FPGA/PLDs.
- Board clocks setting.
- Perform Bit manipulation.
- Sets DMA's and interrupts.
GiDEL's PROCWizard is an innovative tool that helps users
from
the project level. It has been developed for high system performance.
The PROCWizard
automatically connects between the SW and the HDL applications running on the
PROC Boards.
As a result, HW & SW engineers are able to
interact and work much closer together.
It is simple to perform a design change involving the SW and the HDL code.
In addition, the documentation is
always updated. The
PROCWizard
increases product reliability and maintainability.
The SW & HW engineers use the same documented source to make it simpler to maintain.
Using
he
PROCWizard tool with the PROC Boards constitutes a
real re-configurable computing environment.
The PROCWizard generates an Application driverTM (a C++ class)
for each application / configuration.
The PROC Boards
application / configuration is changed simply by closing the previous Application driver class
and initiating a new Application driver class. For more complex designs it is possible to reconfigure just
part of the devices while the other ones are still working.
PROCWizard is
also used as a powerful debugging tool that makes it simple and easy to debug the application's
first steps without
the need of software.
As a result of the two PROCWizard enviroments (debug and development)
a junior SW engineer may access the application over the HW
simply as if it where regular SW.
Combining PROC Boards, PROCWizard &
PROC MultiPort DRAM controller,
enables the creation of new, simple testing and debugging methodologies.
