Gidel’s FPGA acceleration boards are based on Altera’s newest generation of FPGAs, including Arria 10 and Stratix 10, with Teraflop capabilities and scalability for Petaflop performance and beyond.


Gidel offers a complete solution that includes modular acceleration boards, flexibility in I/O selection, development tools, infrastructure IPs, and sub-system solutions.

Gidel provides a variety of accessories and interface standards for data acquisition and inter-board connectivity that connect directly to its FPGA boards. The Gidel FPGA boards are designed for modular customization, enabling system interfaces to be tailored according to design specifications.


Interfacing customization is possible at two levels:

  • Board selection according to required interfaces, including SFP+, CXP, QSFP, SAS, SATA, CoaXPress, and other interfaces
  • Daughter board add-on(s), including user-defined interfaces


Based on this interface flexibility, almost any cluster topology can be achieved, including 3D Torus, 6-way Hypercube, and 4-way Tree.
