Embedded AI Vision System with Real-Time FPGA Image Processing
Embedded Technologies 2026: Gidel will present FPGA-based imaging and embedded AI vision solutions built for compact, high-performance systems. The live demo will show how Gidel combines NVIDIA Jetson and FPGA processing to support high-speed acquisition, real-time image processing, and AI at the edge.
Live Demo: FantoVision20-GigE Edge AI Vision System
Gidel will showcase a live demo of the FantoVision20-GigE, combining NVIDIA Jetson and FPGA technology in a compact Edge AI vision platform.
The demo features real-time 10 GigE Vision acquisition with FPGA-based image processing, advanced HDR, and Gidel’s proprietary Quality+ Compression.
By moving image enhancement and compression to the FPGA, the system reduces the load on the NVIDIA Jetson. As a result, more Jetson resources remain available for real-time AI tasks such as detection, tracking, and classification.
Why It Matters for Embedded Vision
Embedded AI systems often need to handle high-resolution image streams with limited power, size, and processing resources. Gidel’s FPGA-based approach helps solve this challenge by processing data before it reaches the Jetson CPU/GPU.
This enables lower latency, reduced bandwidth, efficient image handling, and more predictable performance for demanding embedded vision applications.
